Ancho Reyes Ancho Chile Liqueur 700mL
Ancho Reyes Ancho Chile Liqueur was first created in 1927, and is based on a traditional recipe from Puebla, a town in Mexico known for its ancho chillies, which are dried and smoked poblanos. These precious chillies are macerated in cane spirit for six months, producing a fiery drink that can be enjoyed as a shot or used to spice up a wide range of classic cocktails such as the Margarita, Daiquiri or Paloma. Slightly pungent in flavour profile, attractive notes of dried chili, spices, cinnamon, cocoa, tamarind, and wet wood with light herbal infusions make this a unique and delicious addition to any spirits collection or back bar.

Ancho Reyes Ancho Chile Liqueur 700mL 40% ABV
Tasting note: Deep copper penny colour with some sediment evident. Unusual aromas of Thai-chilli sauce, sliced zucchini and mild wasabi, but neither prickly or hot. Palate is more convincing - true to style with semi-sweet chilli-sauce flavours and genuine heat. Finishes broad, slightly flat, with hints of cinnamon and lingering chile pepper warmth. 40% Alc./Vol.
