This Volnay Premier Cru Caillerets was among the very first plots of land acquired by the Bouchard Père & Fils estate. Traces of the former owner can be seen on the label, in the phrase 'Ancienne Cuvée Carnot'. Based on fruity, spiced notes, this wine features a rich, dense texture and a wonderful structure that goes beautifully with its refined character. It is entirely representative of the Volnay appellation's reputation for grace and elegance.
