Bib and Tucker 6 Year Old Small Batch Bourbon 750mL 46% ABV

In the late 1800s, Chattanooga, Tennessee had more than 30 distilleries and was the largest distilling centre in the state. Then came Prohibition, and it was all shut down. It stayed that way until nearly 100 years later, when Joe Ledbetter and Tim Piersant founded the Chattanooga Whiskey Company. The whiskies are currently being made at the MGP/LDI distillery in Indiana, however, the company plans to begin distilling operations in the Spring of 2015 in downtown Chattanooga. There are two variations of Chattanooga: 1816 Reserve and 1816 Cask. 1816 celebrates the date of the establishment of the first trading post along the Tennessee River which became Chattanooga. The whiskies are produced from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. Early reviews have been complimentary, and the packaging impresses, harking back to 'Old times in Dixie". 45% Alc./Vol.
