Gran Patron Burdeos Tequila is a hand made, luxury añejo tequila made from the finest 100% Weber blue agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. It is matured in a combination of new American and French Oak barrels and aged for a minimum of 12 months. It is then distilled again before it is racked in vintage Bordeaux barrels, from the finest French chateaux (Burdeos means Bordeaux in Spanish). The taste is smooth and sweet; with great body and a long-lasting finish, it offers notes of oak, light agave, vanilla and raisins. Gran Patron Burdeos is beautifully packaged in a crystal bottle placed inside a handsome rounded black walnut display case that has leather inserts.

Patron History: The original Patron Tequila was produced by Tequila Siete Leguas, and brand rights were sold to St. Maarten Spirits, owners John Paul DeJoria (Paul Mitchell Hair Products) and Martin Crowley in 1989. As the brand grew, Tequila Siete Leguas was no longer able to keep up with production, and Patron built a new distillery and moved all production in 2002.

Gran Patron Burdeos Tequila Tasting Notes: Nose: Gentle agave is supported by creamy oak and delightful Bordeaux vinosity. Palate: Vanilla, dried fruit and oak sharpness. Finish: Lingering and fairly smooth.
