Iron Maiden Light Brigade - Like the other Maiden beers, Light Brigade is being bottled in partnership with Robinsons Brewery — and this one comes with a charitable twist. According to the Robinsons website, a portion of the proceeds for each sale is being diverted to Help for Heroes, a non-profit dedicated to helping British Armed Forces veterans "who live with complex wounds and injuries – both physical and mental – and are looking to regain their purpose in life."
Offering what's being billed as "a unique interpretation of a sessionable golden ale," the 4.1 percent ABV Light Brigade adds a lower-alcohol entry to the Maiden beer family, which now stands at five brews. The flagship Trooper ale got the band's brewing venture off to a wildly successful start, and was subsequently followed by the limited edition Trooper 666, which was produced to celebrate 10 million pints sold, a porter dubbed Red 'N' Black, and a Belgian-style ale called Hallowed.
