Kraken Black Spiced Rum is named after an enormous sea monster (think giant squid!), and the story that claims the fearsome Kraken sunk the largest ever haul of black spiced Caribbean rum. Kraken Black Spiced Rum is pot distilled in the Caribbean Virgin Islands and fermented in naturally sweet molasses from local riverbank sugar cane. Only the best natural yeasts are used to ferment the thinned down molasses, which is then converted to alcohol. This dark rum is then oak barrel aged between 12 and 24 months until perfect, then blended with an exciting mix of cinnamon, ginger, clove and other spices.

INGREDIENTS:- 2 1/2 ounces Kraken Black Spiced Rum
- Dale DeGroffs Pimento Aromatic Bitters
- 2 orange slices
- 2 maraschino cherries
- 1 ounce club soda
- Muddle an orange slice, cherry and bitters at the bottom of an old fashioned glass.
- Fill the glass with ice and add Kraken Black Spiced Rum
- Toss between the glass and a shaker tin to mix. Top with club soda and garnish with the other orange slice and cherry.
