Mathilde Cassis Liqueur is a product of Maison Pierre Ferrand. Two varieties of black currant are used to create Mathilde Cassis Liqueur – a culinary currant called noir de bourgogne and a sweet currant called blackdown. Currants are steeped in spirits for several weeks before sugar syrup and water are added to bring the liqueur to the ideal ABV. Sweet, tart and concentrated, Mathilde Cassis may be used in a French Daiquiri, Cobbler or Gin Fizz Cocktail.
