Riversdale Estate Roaring 40's Chardonnay 750mL (Case of 12)

Chardonnay is a great traveller, and in Australia, is our most planted white grape. That noted, Chardonnay is anything but ordinary at Riversdale Estate. Our vineyard has contributed to some of Australia's most loved Chardonnay brands, including Treasury Wine Estate's renowned Penfolds Yattarna. Between 2009 and 2014, Riversdale Estate won 9 trophies and 24 gold medals for its own ultra-premium Crater Chardonnay. Our Roaring 40s label expresses the fresh, fruit-driven vibrancy of young, cool climate Chardonnay. Its wines are intended to provide immediate enjoyment on opening, and this release from the high quality, low yielding vintage of 2015 certainly meets the brief. Star-bright in the glass, it offers aromas of white flowers – think daisy and spring blossom – while delivering ripe, almost tropical/lime flavours. Without oak masking its pristine fruit, the wine is a delicious match for Tasmanian mussels, Caesar salad, pan-fried flathead and fettuccine carbonara. Simply add a little sunshine.
