Suntory Kakubin The Premium Tasting Notes

Nose: Mild sweet vanilla and creamy caramel, with some soft fruits. Melon and light apple, and a touch of floral oak. Palate: More creamy vanilla and mildly spicy oak and herbs. It’s earthy and sweet grains and malt. Finish: Medium finish with a bit more sweet herbs and bitter oak. A touch of citrus makes an appearence, but is fleating. Overall: This is very nice and a definite step up from the standard Kakubin. You can sip this rather easily and drink it straight, or mix it. Ironically it’s not as good as a mixer as the standard Kakubin, though. However, that’s the tradeoff. It’s good in both worlds but not superior in either
