The Jalisco Highlands of Mexico is one of the most famous tequila-producing regions in the world. It is here that the famous artisans of Clase Azul can be found, plying their remarkable trade. The Tequila Clase Azul Plata (Blanco) (White) is an example of this extraordinary craft. Made from the famous blue agave plant, the nascent tequila is baked in brick ovens for around 36 hours. It is then fermented in open top stainless steel vats with own selected native yeast and double distilled. The wonderful resulting silver tequila is silver and clear, full bodied with a herbaceous and nutty after taste. Each bottle of Clase Azul is a work of art. Colour: Silver tequila, clear
Aroma: Herbaceous notes dominating, Green Tea, chamomile and nutmeg followed by lemon peel , very smooth.
