Tullibardine The Murray Marsala Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Released as part of the Tullabardine Marquess Collection, The Murray is a 2006 vintage Highland single malt Scotch Whisky, matured in first fill bourbon barrels and then transferred and finished following extra maturation in sweet Sicilian Marsala wine casks for its final 365 days of maturation.
It’s the fourth limited edition whisky to join the Marquess Collection, having followed the Murray 2004, 2005 and the Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The result is a rose-tinged appearance with oaky and spicy aromas on the nose. When tasted, the whisky is reminiscent of plump summer fruits, malted biscuits and chewy strawberry candy. Creamy orange lingers on the finish. 46%AV.
