Belgrove Distillery in Tasmania is one of very few whisky distilleries in the world that grows all its own grain, malts, ferments, distills and barrel ages on site. Belgrove also has Australia’s only rye whisky & white rye spirit. Belgrove whisky is truly an estate whisky, every step from paddock to bottle happens on Belgrove Estate. The rye grown and distilled by Peter Bignell. All handcrafted, all small batch and to top it all off Belgrove distillery and farm is run on bio-fuelled that's good for the environment. Belgrove's copper pot still is direct fired with biodiesel that Bignell makes from waste cooking oil sourced from a roadhouse next to the farm.
