Freycinet Vineyards site was cleared in 1978, and in 1979 the first vines wer planted and the first commerical winery was established on the East Coast. The family-owned Freycinet Vineyard is recoginsied by collectors as the msot cinsistent and distinguished producer of ultra fine Tasmanian Pinoy Noir.
Freycinet Pinot Noir is richly coloured and flavoured with excellent fruit definition, complexity and viscosity.
