Domaine A, established in 1973, is set in one 
of the most pristine natural environments
 in the world. Ancient soils and a cool climate gives rise to terroir founded on 200 million year old Jurassic Dolerite. Domaine A lies on a north facing slope that enjoys a temperate maritime climate and extended sunlight hours over a long, cool season.

Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon, which also includes a small percentage of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot is a foil to the more opulent mainland styles. Violets, roses and blackcurrants pervade the wines. Tannins are fine grained and there is a freshness and mineral quality on the palate.
