The Fernet-Branca recipe is actually a closely guarded secret that's been passed down from father to son in the Branca family since its creation. To this day, the president of the company personally measures out the aromatics during the production process! The company has said in the past: "...The 27 herbs Fernet Branca contains come from all five continents: aloe comes from South Africa, rhubarb from China, gentian from France, galangal from India or Sri Lanka, chamomile from Italy or Argentina... there are flowers, herbs, roots and plants used for alcoholic brews, extracts and teas..." Fernet Branca is lauded by supporters for its ability to aid digestion and cure hangovers. If that doesn't convince you - Nothing will! Fernet Branca is aged in oak barrels for at least a year prior to bottling. Dark brown in colour, with a subtle yellow hint, Fernet-Branca has a look as unique as its taste.

Nose: Flavours of sweet caramel, citrus and mint. Palate: Earthy herbal bitterness, hints of tobacco and chocolate.
