Glenmorangie The Original Highland Single Malt is the original expression of the elegant, Glenmorangie floral spirit and the real backbone of the Glenmorangie range. A ten-year-old single malt, produced by marrying the delicate spirit that emerges from Scotland's tallest stills, with first and second fill American white oak casks.
It is matured for ten long years in a range of ex-bourbon casks such as their famous slow-grown and air-dried 'designer casks' from Missouri, where the raw spirit develops a perfect balance between sweetness and complexity.
Resulting in a mature spirit that is soft, mellow and creamy. Perfect for enjoying at any time.

Glenmorangie the Original (formerly the Ten year Old) is light gold in colour giving off an aroma of vanilla and almonds. The palate is clean and fresh with honey, oranges, lemon zest and a slight fruitiness of peaches. diluted helps the smoothness come out a bit more and develops more of a creamy mouth feel. Short and dry finish but not unpleasant.
Glenmorangie The Original is made at the Glenmorangie distillery located in the far north of Scotland. The Glenmorangie distillery uses the tallest stills in Scotland, where only the lightest and purist spirit vapours reach the top, giving Glenmorangie its hallmark floral and fruity character. It is a great introduction to Single Malt Whisky.
