Hibiki 17 Year Old Japanese Whisky 700mL
Hibiki 17 Year Old Whisky is a multi award winning Japanese Blended Whisky with a blend of single malts and grain whisky from the Yamazaki (Japan's oldest founded in 1923) and Hakushu distilleries. Another unique quality of this whisky is that it has been filtered through bamboo charcoal. Rather than removing significant amounts of flavour, this process creates a softer spirit with sweeter tones and more mineral expression. It can be hard to get your hands on this beauty... One of the greatest!
Hibiki 17 Year Old Whisky 700mL 43%ABV
With the popularity of Japanese whisky it is hardly a surprise to note the exhaustive list of medals and accolades accrued by the Hibiki label. It's a whisky of elegance, finesse and sheer quality. Under the Hibiki label, Suntory creates premium blends from their three distilleries. These whiskies are distinctly Japanese, with unique sandalwood flavours contributed by the use of Mizunara, a very rare Japanese oak. Another unique quality of this whisky is that it has been filtered through bamboo charcoal. Rather than removing significant amounts of flavour, this process creates a softer spirit with sweeter tones and more mineral expression. This quintessential and award winning Japanese Whisky is released after been aged for a minimum of 17 years.
