Jack Daniels was founded long before the first ancestor you could ever come up with. And in 2010 the whiskey was 160 years old. To commemorate one of the world’s best selling spirits, Jack Daniels bottled a special edition in an all black bottle. Quite a large number of the Jack Daniels 160th Birthday Bottle were produced, but they are the only black glass bottles produced by the distillery and they vowed never to do it again due to cost and difficulties in production.
