Jim Beam Gold Bowling Pin Bourbon 1970s Australia 700mL
Jim Beam Gold Bowling Pin SUPER RARE! - Beam started producing whiskey decanters in 1952; their very first product of this extensive range of decanters was a pin bottle with a wooden top. Later on in the 1960s Beam replaced the wooden top with a plastic version which was painted gold. These bowling pins from the 1960's and 70's are now very sought after by collectors. Later in the mid 1970's Beam also produced a white stoneware version which contained a 10-year old Bourbon, which is rarer than the glass gold top version.
Notes about this bottle: This Jim Beam Gold Bowling Pin is in excellent condition for the age. It's an Australian bottle 700mL from the mid 1970s (we estimate 1974 or 1975) and it has the fully intact USA Tax Seal.

Beam started producing whiskey decanters in 1952. Hundreds were turned out in every imaginable shape and size, from American muscle cars to drunken deputies. Why someone settled on a bowling pin bottle is anyone's guess, yet it's one of the designs that's become constantly sought-after as a collector's item - bottles command good prices even when they're empty. This edition replaced the younger wooden top version and comes packaged with a gold plastic head. Probably stemming from the 1970s, it's an 8-year old Bourbon.
