A dark spiced Caribbean rum introduced to the UK in Spring 2010, Kraken's old-style bottle and superlative packaging seem to earmark it out for greatness. Named after and in honour of the most fearsome of all sea monsters that lies up to 3000 feet beneath the surface of the ocean. This exotic Rum is made from naturally sweet molasses from sugar cane grown naturally on Virgin Island riverbanks. Aged in barrel for 24 months to impart classic dark rum flavours of cinnamon, ginger and clove.
Tasting Notes
Appearance - Clear, dark walnut brown. Aroma - Nutty, Vanilla and coffee with cherryade and a prickly pinch of old fashioned gunpowder. Taste - Slightly sweet, cola-like vanillered spicy palate with espresso coffee, creamy caramel, cinnamon, cloves and gingerbread. Aftertaste - Long, peppery spiced finish.| GTIN | 811538013666 |
