Matured in real Spanish Sherry oak casks for almost 2 decades (yep these were the days when Macallan used real sherry casks not seasoned casks), the Macallan 1971 was distilled in 1971 and bottled in 1989 and offers a delicious mixture of vanilla, cinnamon, dried fruit and woody flavours and aromas. Quite simply an iconic Macallan that now is super rare especially with the box. A true treat for Macallan investors and collectors!

Notes on condition: Box has a small dent on the top right but otherwise is in excellent condition considering the age of the bottle. The bottle is in excellent condition and has been stored in a cellar for over 30 years.
