The company has been distributing whiskies from smaller Japanese producers (Akashi/Eigashima and Isawa, among others) for several years now. Kiwami means "height" in Japanese, and the intention of this bottling is to represent some of the distillery's best blending efforts using both Scotch whiskies and locally produced whiskies. It was raised in oak barrels in the Chugoku-Jozo Japanese Distillery, housed within a 360-meter tunnel offering ideal conditions for maturation. This gourmet whiskey is marked by notes of nuts and fresh herbs.
