The No. 3 release, showcases rum distilled exclusively through their pot still.
No 3 Pot Still Rum is created in the copper pot still that was first used at Diplomático’s La Miel distillery in 1959. Today this copper pot still makes rums that are considered at the heart of Diplomatico's unique taste profile.
This limited-edition rum, aged in ex-bourbon barrels, combines tropical fruit aromas with toffee and vanilla. Best served neat or on the rocks or in an old fashioned.

Diplomatico Distillery Collection No 3 Pot Still Rum is created in the copper pot still that was first used at Diplomático’s La Miel distillery in 1959. This discontinuous distillation system was originally used in Scotland to produce whisky. The pot still uses sugarcane honeys and a prolonged fermentation process. The spirit is then filled into small American white oak barrels to age.
Heavy and complex. Warm oakiness comes together with elegant toffee and vanilla.
Right on the nose: Caramel and leather combine with raisins and dried mango to create a rich, sweet flavour.
On the tongue: Initially filled with light fruits such as bananas and mangoes, there is a gentle undercurrent of smoke that leads to deeper notes of raisins and honeyed prunes.
The conclusion is full of honey and vanilla, as well as rich prunes and dates, with just a hint of banana.
