The Shiraz is the classic style of this Old Block vineyard, producing one of Australia's most distinguished wines. This gorgeous wine is now reaping the rewards of older vines. Mount Langi Ghiran take their environmental role very seriously. They use organic methods of disease prevention and pest management. They also use sustainable methods of irrigation, soil management, and land conservation.

Tasting Notes

Colour & Appearance: Dark crimson red with a purple hue. Almost totally black. Nose: Liquorice and blackberry elements intermingle with clove, vanilla, cedar and pepper notes. Palate: Medium weight with an elegant mouthfeel. Spearmint and blackberry elements complimented by a firm balance of acid and oak. Finish: Long finish with lingering cloves, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper.
