Old Pulteney 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky predominantly features ex-bourbon maturation, with the addition of spirit that has been wholly matured in Spanish oak ex-sherry casks. The whisky, like all Pulteney bottlings, is amongst some of the best liquid coming out of Scotland.
The Old Pulteney 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky was matured to perfection for a balanced palate and smooth mouth feel. The whisky is complex, and walks the line between it's two different barrel types well, with a supporting coastal influence.
On one hand, this is an intense single malt, yet at the same time, it is truly balanced.
Spice and sweetness unite in this naturally rich amber whisky to celebrate rich flavours, yet lighter, more refreshing coastal notes show another side of this single malt.
This newly presented Pulteney replaces the fabulous 17 year old. Aged in bourbon and second-fill American oak casks, followed by a period in first-fill Spanish oak oloroso butts.

APPEARANCE Rich amber
AROMA Intense yet balanced. Bursting with rich dried fruit, ripe apples and citrus, with honey sweetness and a generous chord of creamy vanilla. Slightly chocolaty and floral in the background.
TASTE Fragrant spices and Christmas cake, with layers of chocolate and a distinct dark toffee sweetness.
There is a hint of salty sea air on the finish, a clear connection to the influence of Old Pulteney’s coastal home.
