Until the early 1990's, Red Hen Railcars serviced metropolitan Adelaide. Around the same time, 3 brothers and an honorary brother were growing up together, riding Red Hens to school and generally having a good time. Fast forward 30 years and the same band of brothers are still very close, living in Adelaide, enjoying the local food and drink. It's this mutual passion for South Australian Produce that led the boys to develop Red Hen Gin.
Red Hen Gin is Juniper forward, with some citrus and floral notes upfront. The palate is crisp and peppery off the back of fresh celery leaf, Cubeb Pepper Berries and Grains of Paradise. These tones flow smoothly with a hint of Cassia into a light but earthy finish.
