Cloudy Bay’s pioneering expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is evolving in unison with the age of their vines. Each year brings an additional nuance of complexity. Cloudy Bay's Natural Luxury is a luxury of space and time, of intimate moments and nature’s rarest qualities. Aromatically, Te Koko unfolds with a complex array of citrus and stone fruit, complemented by exotic floral notes on the finish. Flavours of grapefruit and white nectarine display a fresh counterpoint to the richer notes of lemon curd and beeswax. The palate is tightly focussed with a taut entry, though the texture builds towards the finish. Te Koko pairs beautifully with fresh seafood. The rich texture and bright acidity in the wines pairs well with oily fish and is a perfect match with salmon from the Marlborough Sounds.
